You can make a donation of appreciated securities that may provide an immediate tax deduction and savings on capital gains taxes.

NMPBS operates under the UNM Foundation 501(c)3 and utilizes the foundation’s Broker to Broker procedure.

Donors should provide his/her broker a letter containing the following information:

1. Name of security and number of shares to be transferred
2. Donor’s account number from which the shares will be transferred
3. Foundation’s account into which the shares are to transferred – Morgan Stanley Wealth Management #234-021171-242 (DTC#0015) for the “account of the UNM Foundation Inc.”
4. Please state the sole purpose of the gift is to benefit KNME/New Mexico PBS
